# Acknowledge a change

POST https://api.livingbrain.com/v1/brains/{brainId}/changes/{changeId}/ack

Acknowledge a single change event, removing it from unacknowledged views.

## Authentication

- `x-api-key` header (required) — Your Living Brain API key. Create one from the dashboard; keys are scoped to an organization and carry the role of the member they were issued to.

- `brainId` (string, required) — Brain id
- `changeId` (string, required) — Change event id

## Response

- `tenantId` (string, required) — Owning tenant id
- `subjectId` (string, required) — Owning subject id (host-defined)
- `brainId` (string, required) — Owning brain id
- `pageId` (string, required) — Affected page id
- `pageSlug` (string, required) — Slug of the page this refers to.
- `pageTitle` (string, required) — Title of the page at the time of the event.
- `action` (enum, required) — What happened to the page.
  - Allowed values: `created`, `updated`, `renamed`, `merged`, `split`, `archived`, `restored`, `recovered`, `routed`
- `changeSummary` (string, required) — One-line human-readable description of the change.
- `toVersion` (integer, required) — Page version after the change.
- `fromVersion` (integer, required) — Page version before the change.
- `ingestSourceId` (string, required, nullable) — Ingest source that triggered the change, if any
- `contradictions` (list of string, required) — Contradiction notes raised by the compile
- `ackedAt` (datetime, required, nullable) — ISO 8601 timestamp of when a user acknowledged this, or null if still unacknowledged.
- `createdAt` (datetime, required) — ISO 8601 timestamp of when this record was created.
- `updatedAt` (datetime, required) — ISO 8601 timestamp of when this record was last modified.

### 400 Bad Request Error

Validation failed (e.g. empty title/body, slug already in use)
