Bind a Slack channel

Connect a Slack channel to a brain so it receives brain notifications. Configure which notifications it receives with updateBinding.

x-api-keystring

Your Living Brain API key. Create one from the dashboard; keys are scoped to an organization and carry the role of the member they were issued to.

Identifies the end user the request is made on behalf of. Brains are owned by a subject, so this determines which brains the caller can see.

Unique identifier for the channel binding.
brainIdstring
ID of the brain this channel is bound to.

ID of the Slack installation the channel belongs to.

Slack workspace (team) ID.

Slack channel ID.

Slack channel name, when available.
statusenum
Whether the binding is currently delivering notifications.
Allowed values:
notifyBriefsboolean
Whether the channel receives the daily brief.
notifyConnectionsboolean
Whether the channel is notified when strong new connections are discovered.
notifyChangesboolean
Whether the channel is notified when pages are updated with new knowledge.
createdAtdatetime
ISO 8601 timestamp of when this record was created.
